Technology is a wonderful thing, but it also presents its challenges. Hopefully, these images will give you an initial idea for us to begin. In addition to these two options, I will start working on the flat design so that we can see the actual layout. The plant maturity sizes will all be the same for that design, but it allows us to play musical plants with the ones listed below.
Option 1:
So, I realize that this is very pink/purple. That is one of the flaws with this technology. I do not have the ability to adjust the coloring of the plants it provides. In reality, the middle row would be a white bloom with a pink center. Also, the middle row would be a lone bloomer. It would be green when the other rows are in bloom. Plants shown are as follows:
Option 2:
In this option, the middle row will be deciduous. One alternative would be to make the daylilies a variegated liriope to add a more evergreen option to the front row in the dormant months.

Option 3:
This option would be to remove the daylilies, and move them to the back around the new evergreen patio screen. They would soften and give color to the new screen.

Back Patio
These do not ever need pruning
These can be pruned to stay any desired size you like
Tree Options:
- Bloodgood Maple
- K.V. Purple Plum Cherry
- Autumn Brillance Serviceberry — either single or multi stem
- Serendipity Magnolia — evergreen, blooms and leaves look different than the Magnolias you have in the back buffer. This is also an option for potentially putting at the end of the new screen at the patio to provide shade to the “grilling area” since it does not get wide at maturity.
- Tokyo Fringe Tree — also a good ending to the new patio screen/grill area
