Sorry for the delay, but here are a couple options for trees to run down the fence line. It is a variety of evergreen shrubs, deciduous canopy trees, and evergreen trees. You can click the each link to be taken to a new tab to view each one. I will price them out once you have narrowed the selection down. The website are used as reference, not for price point or place of purchase.
Let me know your thoughts, and I can create a layout based on your selections. Usually, you would like to alternate canopy tree with shrub. However, since there is an existing fence, you have more layout options based off the fullness of screen desired.
Evergreen Shrubs
- Jantar Arborvitae
- Emerald Green Arborvitae
- Spartan Juniper
- Miss Patricia Holly
- Moonglow Juniper
- Skyrocket Juniper
Evergreen Trees
- Osmanthus fragrans ‘Aurantiacus’ — will have to shape into shrub/tree due to starting size
- White Fragrant Tea Olive —will have to shape into shrub/tree due to starting size
- Little Gem Magnolia —- think this is a good choice for the fireplace window because you can limb it up, or keep the branches low depending on the size of view you want to block.
Deciduous Trees
- Tokyo Tower Fringe Tree
- Goldspire Ginkgo Tree
- Bloodgood Maple — Would use closer to the start of the fence line from the front of the house, because it’s a beautiful tree, but has a little wider canopy. I would also get a single stemmed tree, over the multi-stem for the area.
